Temperament/Exercises/Living Conditions
The American Staffordshire Terrier is an intelligent, obedient, good-natured and loyal dog. It is good with children too. To success in your relationship you have to achieve a pack leader status and you must be higher up in the order than your dog. It needs to be taken on long daily walks (runs and jogs can do too). When you’re going for a walk, the dog must stay behind or beside you. Like that it will learn that you’re the leader.
If it’s exercised right, this breed will do fine in an apartment too.
