“Bissell really supports this adoption event, they help keep our adoption fees down,” said office manager Emily Adkins. “Dogs are $25 and cats are $5.”

Although these events happen several times a year, she says 10-15 pets are adopted each day during the event.

The Empty the Shelters adoption event runs through July 30. So far, about 40 cats and 30 dogs have been adopted.
